Fridman Gallery presents a performance at our Beacon location featuring New MUSE4tet.

Conceived by violinist/composer Gwen Laster in 2015, New MUSE4tet is an improvising ensemble offering 20th and 21st century new works and original compositions as a vehicle for social activism. NM4T will be performing original music from their debut release Blue Lotus and new works composed by members of the ensemble. The compositions and album art work of Blue Lotus were inspired by and dedicated to African American women artists, anti racism, and social justice. The artists joining Gwen are violist Melanie Dyer, cellist Alex Waterman, and bassist Dara Bloomenthal.
PLEASE NOTE: masks and proof of COVID vaccination will be required for attendance.
Proceeds from this performance will be contributed to Return Alive Foundation assisting victims of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Additional direct donations are encouraged.
