Fridman Gallery presents live sound and visual performances by Dorit Chrysler vs Claudius, opened by Lary 7. The performance will mark the final day of Calder Plays Theremin, a film installation of Dorit Chrysler's multi-movement orchestra for the theremin on view at Fridman Gallery from March 9 – 23. Dorit Chrysler works with sound, film, performance and composition. She has been pioneering the application of the Theremin instrument in different mediums and is the founder of the nythereminsociety.

Claudius is the ambient music project by visual artist Tim Lehmacher.
Claudius currently lives and works in Berlin.

Lary 7 is a New York-based multimedia artist, as well as co-founder of Plastickville Records. He has been a major figure in the New York experimental underground music scene since 1970.


PLEASE NOTE: masks and proof of COVID vaccination will be required for attendance.

Proceeds from this performance will be contributed to Return Alive Foundation assisting victims of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Additional direct donations are encouraged.
